Halomonas strains isolated

During the past months, a variety of halomonas strains were isolated from bilge wastewater. Biodegradation tests are being conducted for the determination of each's microorganism potential to degrade complex mixture of hydrocarbons. Single colonies as well as mix cultures are being examined. Bioaugmentation in bioreactors of high performing stains will be the next step!
